Privacy Policy

Photo Words stores gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device. This includes level and album progress, coins, hints, sound and other settings, and counters used to limit how often ads are shown. Pulsar Games does not operate an account system for Photo Words and does not receive this local data.

Deleting the app removes this locally stored information, subject to your device's backup behavior on iOS or Android.

Photo Words uses Google AdMob to show a banner ad at the bottom of the screen, optional rewarded video ads that a player chooses to watch in exchange for a hint, and occasional full-screen interstitial ads between levels, with limits on how often they appear. Google and its advertising partners may process device and app information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising or vendor identifiers where available, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. They use this information to deliver ads, limit repetition, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

The exact data used depends on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the ad served. On iPhone and iPad, Photo Words does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; AdMob may still process other device or app identifiers that iOS permits. On Android, AdMob may use the Android advertising ID according to your device settings. Photo Words uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for an advertising privacy choice where required, such as in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and US states with applicable privacy laws. You can review or change your choice at any time from Privacy options in the game's Settings, where available in your region. You can also limit ad tracking in your device settings and manage personalized advertising through Google's ad controls.

Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove ads; it can result in ads selected with less personalized information. Rewarded ads remain optional.

Photo Words offers an optional one-time "No Ads" purchase. It is processed by the Apple App Store on iPhone and iPad and by Google Play on Android. Pulsar Games receives the purchase entitlement and transaction status needed to provide the purchased feature, but not your Apple ID, Google Account details, or payment-card details.

Apple and Google process this information under the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

On Android, Photo Words relies on Google Play services for ads and purchases. Google Play services may process device and app information, diagnostics, and identifiers to provide these services, under the Google Privacy Policy.

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and relevant troubleshooting details. We use it only to respond, investigate issues, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes. Service providers may process information for the purposes described above and under their own policies. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the game, or our rights. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Photo Words is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact us to request review and deletion.

We may update this policy when Photo Words, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date below will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel when required.
