Pulsar Games
Privacy Policy
Effective August 16, 2026
This policy explains how Pulsar Games handles information when you use Sumspire. It applies to the iPhone and iPad app and related Sumspire support pages.
Information stored on your device
Sumspire stores gameplay progress and preferences locally on your device. This can include scores, level and unlock progress, remaining lives, tutorial state, sound and haptic settings, and advertising cadence. Pulsar Games does not operate an account system for Sumspire and does not receive this local data.
Deleting the app removes this locally stored information, subject to Apple's device and backup behavior.
Apple services and purchases
If you use Game Center, Apple processes your Game Center identity, scores, and achievements. In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Pulsar Games receives purchase entitlement and transaction status needed to provide the purchased feature, but not your Apple ID or payment-card details.
Apple processes this information under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Advertising
The ad-supported version of Sumspire uses Google AdMob to offer optional rewarded ads, such as an ad a player chooses to watch in exchange for an extra life. Google and its advertising partners may process device and app information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, advertising or vendor identifiers where available, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. They use this information to deliver ads, limit repetition, measure performance, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
The exact data used depends on your device settings, region, consent choices, and the ad served. Sumspire does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) and disables Google's optional publisher first-party identifier. AdMob may still process other device or app identifiers that iOS permits. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Your privacy choices
Where required, Sumspire asks for an advertising privacy choice before requesting ads. If a privacy-options entry point is required in your region, it is available from the game's settings. You can also limit tracking in iOS under Privacy & Security and manage personalized advertising through Google's ad controls.
Declining tracking does not necessarily remove ads; it can result in ads selected with less personalized information. Rewarded ads remain optional.
Support messages
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and relevant troubleshooting details. We use it only to respond, investigate issues, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.
Retention, disclosure, and security
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes. Service providers may process information for the purposes described above and under their own policies. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the game, or our rights. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Children
Sumspire is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact us to request review and deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Sumspire, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date below will identify the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel when required.
