Swipescape Privacy Policy

Swipescape does not collect any data. The photos you use are processed on your iPhone and are never uploaded. The app has no account, no ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no analytics that leave your iPhone, and no Pulsar Games servers.

Purchases go through Apple, and Pulsar Games never sees your payment details. The rest of this policy explains, feature by feature, what stays on your iPhone and what Apple handles.

You pick photos through Apple's system photo picker, which runs separately from the app and gives Swipescape only the photos you select. Swipescape does not ask to read your photo library and cannot see any other photo in it. The photos you pick are processed on your iPhone to cut slides, grid tiles and collages, and to draw Adaptive colors from them. They are not sent to Pulsar Games or to any other service.

To save finished slides, Swipescape asks for add-only access to your photo library. That permission lets the app add new images and nothing else: it cannot read, change or delete what is already there. You can change it at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Swipescape. Without it, you can still send your slides through the share sheet.

Swipescape keeps your projects inside the app's own storage on your iPhone: copies of the photos you used in them, the settings of each cut, thumbnails, and, for grids, the tiles you marked as posted. It also stores your preferences and whether Pro is active. None of this is sent to Pulsar Games.

You can delete a project in the app, and deleting Swipescape removes all of them. Like other app data, projects may be included in your iPhone's backups, under your own Apple settings.

Your slides leave the app only when you choose: when you save them to Photos, or pick a destination in the share sheet, such as another app, AirDrop or Files. To show the button that opens Instagram, Swipescape checks on your iPhone whether that app is installed; when you tap it, Swipescape only opens Instagram and does not pass it any data. Wherever you send your slides, that destination handles them under its own privacy practices.

Swipescape Pro, as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, is sold and processed by Apple through StoreKit, and offer codes are redeemed with Apple. On your iPhone, the app receives from Apple whether you have an active purchase, so it can unlock Pro. Pulsar Games does not receive your name, your Apple Account, or your payment details; Apple gives us only sales reports that do not identify you.

Swipescape notes app events, such as an export finishing or failing, only in your iPhone's own system log, and counts some of them in its own storage, for example to know when to ask for a rating. It also keeps the crash and hang reports that iOS delivers through Apple's MetricKit in its own storage on your iPhone. None of this leaves your device through Swipescape. Separately, if you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us in a form that does not identify you, under Apple's terms.

Swipescape does not show ads, does not include analytics, advertising or other third-party SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites. It does not use your device's advertising identifier. Pulsar Games does not sell or share personal information.

If you email us, we receive what you choose to include, such as your email address, message and screenshots. When you use Contact support in the app, the email starts with Swipescape's version, your iOS version, your iPhone model and whether Pro is active, so we can help with the right build; you can edit or delete that before you send it. We use support messages only to respond, investigate issues and meet legal obligations, which is what you ask of us when you write and our legitimate interest in supporting the app. Pulsar Games is based in the United States, so support messages are processed there, including by the email service we use. Please do not send private photos unless they are needed to understand your request.

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes. We may disclose it when required by law or to protect users, the app, or our rights. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Swipescape is a general-audience creative tool and is not directed to children. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information through a support request can contact us to have it deleted.

Because Swipescape collects no data, the only personal information we may hold about you is support correspondence you sent us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete it, or to object to its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. We may update this policy when Swipescape, the Apple services it uses, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel when required.
